Hi, I’m Ashlee, and my journey into holistic health began with the inspiration I received from my mom. Growing up, I watched her embrace natural health remedies and this sparked an interest and curiosity within me that eventually led me to follow in her footsteps as I embarked on the same nutritional therapy diploma course that she had completed a decade prior. However, it wasn’t until I faced my own struggles during my teenage years that I truly understood the transformative power of natural health.
I battled with severe acne, and it was during this challenging time that I realized my overall health was not at its best. Determined to avoid the scars of inaction, I embarked on a personal quest for healing. I replaced chemical-laden toiletries with natural, organic alternatives and overhauled my diet to eliminate processed foods. This
journey not only cleared my skin but also ignited a passion for organic living. It motivated me to create my own organic granola brand and brought me to Light is Life, where I now manage and help others discover the body’s innate ability to heal through light and frequency-based therapies.
Having graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in entrepreneurship, I am currently the manager at Light is Life. My mission is to guide others to unlock their full potential by elevating their physical health and encouraging them to pursue life with passion and purpose.
During our retreats, my goal is to foster bonding and togetherness among participants, encouraging them to express themselves freely. I ensure everyone feels comfortable and attended to, creating a safe space for transformation.

I’m Alan Brough, and my journey began in the vibrant landscapes of Zimbabwe. Life’s adventures took me across Africa, the Middle East, China, and finally to the welcoming embrace of Canada in 2010. Each place and experience has been a thread in the tapestry of my life, shaping my understanding and passion for health and well-being.
My early years were marked by a struggle with formal education. Dismissed with a warning to avoid anything requiring reading or writing, I found the challenge invigorating. I rose to become a professional writer, even reaching the finals in the International Book Awards with my latest work. This journey taught me resilience and the power of defying expectations—a lesson that guides my mission today.
In 2022, amidst global upheaval, I found myself at a crossroads. Unemployed, I took a leap of faith and applied for the Executive Director position at Canada Health Alliance. To my delight, I was chosen, and my career pivoted dramatically toward health advocacy. This shift unveiled a troubling truth: too often, we accept media-fed
narratives without question, especially concerning our health. It’s time to reclaim our autonomy and prioritize our well-being over commercial interests.
Now, as co-owner of Light is Life as well as Board Member of Canada Health Alliance, I channel my experiences into transformative retreats.
My mission is clear: to empower individuals to live healthier, happier lives, free from the chronic conditions that plague modern living. Through sound, light, and frequency therapies, alongside nutrition and lifestyle education, I guide participants toward holistic health—physically, psychologically, and spiritually.
